We are looking for an experienced Heavy Plant Workshop Engineer to join a busy workshop team working on vacuum excavation equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience working on heavy plant machinery
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to carry out servicing, maintenance, and fault finding independently
- NVQ in Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification advantageous
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Role
- Workshop-based maintenance and repair of vacuum excavation machinery
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
- Routine servicing and inspections
- Ensuring equipment is maintained to high safety standards
Ideal backgrounds include:
- Excavators
- Construction plant
- Recycling equipment
- HGV/plant mixed fleet
- Specialist utility or suction excavation equipment
