An established manufacturer of industrial machinery is seeking a Service Engineer to join its growing team.
This role combines worldwide machine installation, servicing, and support with hands-on factory-based work when not travelling.
Key Requirements:
- Electro-mechanical engineering background
- Experience servicing and installing industrial production machinery
- Good understanding of PLCs, variable speed drives, and machine controls
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Ability to understand and work with existing PLC software
The Role:
- Installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of machinery worldwide
- International and UK travel on a regular basis
- Typical trips range from a few days to two weeks
- Factory-based assembly and support work between site visits
Package:
- £36,000–£45,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
- Overtime available
- Travel time paid door-to-door
- Full training provided for the right candidate
